LEPAS L8 Right-Hand Drive Makes Global Debut in Indonesia with Pre-Booking Price of IDR 589 Million

LEPAS, the premium sub-brand of Chery Group, introduced the right-hand drive version of the LEPAS L8 for the first time globally at GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025. The debut marks an important milestone for the brand, with Indonesia becoming the first market in the world to showcase the model in its right-hand drive configuration.

As a premium PHEV SUV, the LEPAS L8 combines elegant design, modern innovation, and refined driving comfort through its design philosophy known as “Leopard Aesthetics.” Inspired by the grace, agility, and precision of a leopard, the vehicle presents a balanced character that blends performance with a calm and confident driving experience.

The selection of Indonesia for this global debut reflects the country’s growing automotive market and the increasing demand for vehicles that combine technology, design, and lifestyle value. The introduction at GJAW 2025 provides visitors with an early opportunity to experience the LEPAS L8 and explore its design, technology, and features.

During the exhibition, LEPAS also announced a special pre-booking price of IDR 589 million, giving visitors the opportunity to become among the first owners of the model. Early customers will have access to the LEPAS L8 Founder Edition, which includes exclusive benefits such as a special Mystery Delivery Gift Package, premium after-sales support through Leopard Care, and limited numbered rear badges for the first 100 owners.

Built on the LEX Platform with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the LEPAS L8 offers a spacious and comfortable cabin designed for five passengers. The interior integrates premium materials, ambient lighting, and intelligent features to create a refined and relaxing driving environment.

The vehicle also offers strong efficiency as a PHEV, with a fuel consumption of 1.49 L/100 km, an EV driving range of up to 100 km, and a combined range exceeding 1,300 km, allowing drivers to enjoy both electric mobility and extended travel capability.
